Dj Dan is a great DJ. Saw smash it @ his Fabric residency... and @ Ministry in 99.
Mixed up nicely, but does go rather dull midway for a few tunes, building steam again til the end.

True, as mentioned by previous reviewer... this was Bob Sinclar doin proper French standards. This album, Paradise, was great. I remember the sleeve was all 70's Porno style inlays.
But, as usual, the cash register went off in his head and he's no better Than Eric Moron Morillo... |

I agree, this mix flows from disco house to pulsating techno, and you wouldn't notice! Cox is just magic to listen to... he even throws that Stretch and Vern Track in... filtered house... WICKED MIX |

nice mix... We used to see him at Ministry in the bar back in the mid 90's, he's served his time!
I'm not really a fan of progressive tho... but this mix worked for me. |

this is the kinda shite you'd expect from a Lame MOS CD Mix... only the CD mixer is more bearable!
He's got so much money now, I don't think he gives a shit anymore... which is sad, as he was one of the guys I looked forward to seeing 93-95
His JDJ mix was a good showcase...
Now he's a Popstar DJ... and has DISCO on his numberplate.. wot a ponce.. |

Like his 97 mix, all the phat ass tunes of the day... The Police Boot was pretty rollin. And he always goes dark for a bit before throwin down phatfunkiness for the climax...

We saw him at Trade. I wish I knew what the tunes were... it just got higher and higher... a style you couldn't place... somewhere between Trance/Hardhouse/NRG... but mainly pumpin E myoosak...

Amnesia is an amazing club, and Sven is amazing too. Best mix of 2006.Tracklist is not full, but here present some correctives:

errr, yes it does come across as quite pretentious (i.e. very hard to dance to), and to be honest if i was there at amnesia i would most definitely have gone into the other room. that said, it's not a bad mix, just not a particularly good one either. |

You have to be a fan of 4/4 fonkeebounceesqueakeee house to really see how great this mix works... on that count, it is certainly one of the best funkeee mixes of that year on Emix... Sneakybeats... |

does anybody know the the remixer on the madonna track and the label? I want it just looked on discogs and it's not clear. It says italian bootleg on the tracklisting but i'm sure it must have been released to the masses since the mix was on air? |
