Love this and probably listened to it at least once a month since it was aired.
Still haven't been able to id the track after Getaway though as there is a track not listed. The one that sounds like he's saying "Small f**k!" (apologies for word but it really does sound like that!) |

I would have thought Tom woulda gotten over Star Wars seeing as Lucas forced him to stop using the Jedi Knights monkier. Now I'm not a big Star Wars fan, I though it was decent, but not cult worthy. However, this mix is crazy good. The music is all over the place but is held together superbly with some wicked sampling. Like, LCD Soundsystem mixed with crazy Star Wars trumpets? Lovin' it. |

Not a bad mix at all, reminds me of the fledgling industrial sound back in 1990,only with more tougher beats and sounds. |

This was a legendary set from Carl Cox, didn't make it to Space that year but knew a couple of boys who were there, after being in Manumission all night. From French Kiss thru to Where Love Lives, this was Cox at his best, showing his trancier side as well. Lost this tape a couple of years, delighted to be listening to it again. That roar from the crowd when three drives comes in still sends shivers down my spine, the way he brings it in after some slammin techno is genius. This deserves to be in the hall of fame. |

I found this site quite by change trying to find a song Tiesto played from his earlier show at Disneyland, and after reading what you guys said about him I though I better make a comment. I presume looking at the tracklist he played near enough the same stuff but what Radio 1 failed to play was the first 45 mins, which was fantastic in my option, after that it went downhill a bit. I understand why clubbers dont like him cos he's popular, and arrogant but he is talented and in his own way has added alot to music over the years. The thing that really annoys me about his music is the bloody MC that prattles on through his sets. |

I like this mix, although it is not particularly exceptional. They threw in enough great tracks (the Peace Division one is a killer for example) and kept a pretty good flow going. |

Tommylove - the song that is on when it ends, with Pete talking over it is Adagio for Strings. Certainly on the listen again player that i recorded it from that was the last tune. |

I'm nearly sure it is a re edit by John himself, remember reading something about it somewhere in a magazine around the time of this set. |
