At the time this was the very type of house which defined the term,"handbag house".
This is the sort of stuff ladies liked back then,
a little too lightweight for me though I'm afraid.
And I listened to this on my MP3 player the other day and it has not aged well.
1993 I would have given this a 7,just for the simple fact that is a bog standard house mix,
but now it does'nt even stand up in the classic house mix category(ie:Al McKenzie,CJ Mackintosh,John of the Pleased Wimwn and Alistair Whitehead from the following year).
So now this is a 4 or 5 tops for me. |

Top choons selected ...no disputting the material here Schooly D , Meat Beat manifesto , Jedi knights etc...and ...well....er .....to..put it "kindly"...its..."hesitatingly" ...to be kind....er...mixed ....well they never really were that great of DJs in any shape or form ..
Still at credit at least its hopefully i pressume live ....well they never really were that great of DJs in any shape or form ..
and well has its heart in its right place -no disputing the toon selection at all -top toons and deserves credit alone for that |

Best essential mix bar none - 2 hours of pure bliss -was always gonna be that way -there was 3 of em at the time for this mix -not sure who the "third " member was on this mix -Pablo & Paul are quite awe-inspiring as DJs -check out the following mixes they did if you can:-

Incredible stuff -some peepz have been a touch snobby about some of selection -but foolishly so - top notch stuff some great routines - esther williams / beasties /mantronix / spencer davis + some great blends -clipse / radiohead /squarepusher - awesome stuff -like a 2 hour mass bootleg - hats off |

Sum really nice funky, tribal techno tracks as usual from turbo trev. Saw him play here in Edinburgh last year @ the bongo club but to my dismay there were only about 90 ppl there. Stupid promoters forgot to do just that & it was dead but as ever he had sum wicked records to pull out his bag! |
