Oakenfold invariably disappoints me. This mix, however, does cut the mustard. Aside from the Jan Johnston track yet again, a good mix.

Hi, two things. if anyone is intersted this mix is now up on dave seamans own site. (im probably a bit late in the day on this, i missed a lot of EMs last year). 2. Does anyone have times for the individual tracks, or a cue sheet? i have downloaded the mix but would like to break it up. Thanx. P.S. This mix was excellent, as is all of his stuff. I had the bad luck to be in hospital when he played a club near me this month, so missed a live gig. Oh well.....

Gorgeous. Wish all the EM house mixes were as beautiful to listen to as this. Best of the year so far, and a wonderful birthday present as well!

There was a time when oakey was the best djs in the world by far.Listen to any of his essential mix world tour 1999 mixes and you can see why. But sadly the dj i once loved has lost his edge.As other people have said he keeps playing tired old records that know one wants to here.

I listened to this mix(as I do for every Emix)from start to finish and it was awful, music was far too hard to start off with and it did'nt hve any flow whatsoever.

And whoever told him it was a good idea to scratch over 4/4 music needs their heads examining.

If their was the option for a 0 it would have got one.

Mindless music for empty heads.

CheefRoberts writes: A few corrections... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE 4th track is? [ 1996-07-28 - Sasha ]
Track 1 is called “Seaside Atmosphere” and its by Stef Pako ad Fred Eric.

Track 2 “Words” by Paul van Dyk is taken from Paul’s second album called “Seven Ways” and its on Paul’s German label “MFS”.

"Coming Home" by Visions is on Stress Records and it is the Sunday Club mix that is played.

Sorry but I do not know what the 4th track is called. It sounds a lot like it could be made by Slacker. I know that it is unreleased. I did hear Parks & Wilson play it on the then Kiss 102 Radio station in Manchester (now known as Galaxy) They played it 2nd track after another unreleased track by Tilt entitled “Southern Skies”. If anyone knows what it is called of who it is by, or has a copy then please mail me. I will pay handsomely for it! cheefroberts@hotmail.com

The 5th track is called “Scared” by Slacker and its on Loaded Records. It is the “Of Tomorrow” mix that is played (the main mix) and is the first airing of this track ever.

The 7th track by Goldie is on FFrr records out of London. Pete Tongs label and it is known as Goldie vs Rabbit in the Moon, in other words a RITM remix.

He 8th track is by AGH and its called “Yummy”, remixed by Heliotropic. It is called “Heliotropic Mix 2”

The 10th track comes from Germany. Its original label is Supersition and its called “Venus” by LSG (Oliver Lieb). It got released in the UK on Platipus Records and its title got changed to ”Hidden Sun of Venus”.

The 11th track is also on Platipus Records and its called “Anormally – Calling Your Name” by Libra Presents Taylor. It is the “Granny Mix” that is played. The original mix was created by Taylor and BT.

The 12th track is called “Seadog” by Clanger and is also on Platipus Records, but it was originally on Seismic Records.

The 13th and final track is also on Paul’s MFS label and is also on his “Seven Ways” LP.

A class Emix from a class dj in a year of class house music.

So many awesome tunes, but Dreamtime and Anomoly get me everytime.

And that mix from Ocean Drive into Change is flawless. Awesome.

Long live 1995...

The james zabiela track was cool, but I have a soft spot for all things robo.

Otherwise this mix was soso.

Did he mean to drop the track in the second song? It sounded like he hit the back button his CD player...
