Not bad track selection although there's a few average ones that've been flogged something ridiculous. Mixing wasn't anything special.
The Autechre track he layered was Vletrmx21 |

It's been a while since I've found an EM so irritating...really not my cup of tea at all. |

A like the first half of this mix...a nice deep mix. 8/10. Then from Timo Maas onwards the mix takes a turn for the worse in my opinion. Example is that dully repetitive Paul Jackson track.
Just scrapes a 7 as I did like the first half. |

Really very surprised this wasn't up for Mix of the year. Sharp mixing, great tunes and a helluva lot of fun. This stuff would absolutely wreck any club, brilliant. |

One of the better Tong mixes I've heard. He manages to limit it to only one shitty track. Nearly an 8. |

Definitely a fine mix by Mr. Seaman, pure quality. This man has always amazed me with his mixing skills and ability to really create a set as a whole piece of work, from start to finish. You can't just listen to pieces. This will sit on my ipod for a while. BTW - the Above & Beyond tune is really under an alias they're using, Tranquility Base. That track is huge in the world of trance, well not that mix so much. |

This was an awsome set! Flawless, absolutely perfect! It's going to be a while for somebody to surpass PVD on this mix.(live)even if this is not your preference you still have to respect the mixing skills of pvd. Several diferent genres of trance and all blended together perfect! The Medusa track and Marco-V track were among my favs. |

I am a huge Oakenfold fan(still), and I have over 50 mixes of Oakenfold from over the last 7 years. This is the mix right before the "turning point", so to speak. Nobody plays tracks or builds a vibe like Oakey but, these old classic sets have a "magic" feel to them. I dont't know what it is, but the mp3's that seem to get the most play are all the Oakey mixes leading up to this one. This one is up there with is "resident cd..(disk 2)". I know I live in the states and cannot talk about Oakenfold like those of you in the U.K., but I know what he has done to this music and scene, and can never write anything bad about him because of that. But man, I wish he would put out more sets like this!(Rojan, China was pretty good too!)--whats up with Tony Blair moving next door to Oakey...? |

Never seen ferry live. For some reason I always miss him when he comes to the east coast (in the states) If he is as good live as his E.M. is....WOW! Four on the floor all the way. A little too anthemy for me to lunch on for 2 hours, but an overall great E.M. (love the bt track...any mix with a good bt track in it is bound to get at least a 8 by me!) |
