 mark gwinnett writes: What a mix! [ 1996-11-03 - Carl Cox ]
This is without doubt one of the best mixes I have ever heard. The big man on three decks I believe live from the old Que Club. The energy and vibe of this mix is so powerful and is Carl Cox all over. "I'm addicted to house" I remember being a definite call to arms and the Laidback Luke mix of Green Velvet's masterpiece "The stalker" is a tune that still kicks ass today. It is actually my favourite piece of vinyl in my collection even today although doesn't get played enough these days!! Is there any way to get hold of this mix on CD?

Superb. Really wasn't expecting much from this. Will have to check out her previous mix. One amendment - it's the excellent Nathan Fake mix of Avus - Real.

 serp writes: [ 1994-07-23 - Moby ]
Moby - "Hymm" (Mute)
Orbital - "Speed Freak" (ffrr)
Michael Jackson - "Beat It" (Epic)
Blame - "Music Takes You" (Movin' Shadow)
Afrika Bambattaa & Soulsonic Force - "Planet Rock" (Tommy Boy)
Moby - "Next Is The E" (Instinct)

^^^ that section of the mix is off tap, particularly the "Michael Jackson - Beat It" mixed over "Orbital - Speed Freak". Doing interesting shit with Michael Jackson in dance music about 7 years before anyone else

Great emix, no mix going on at all really but the track selection is pretty interesting. I love love love "Abfahrt - Alone (Its Me)" track from this mix, its dark and low BPMs and it just reminds me of sitting in dark rooms, awesome . A track worthy of a good remixing today i reckon!

Good mix, better than I thought.....freshly new, but with a twist of some old urban ghetto rock jams. Kinda like eathing stale popcorn, but after a 6 pack it aint that bad !

 serp writes: [ 1997-05-18 - Dave Clarke ]
First hour is top notch on the fly mixing with great track selection, I like the slower building Dave Clarke set then his flat out relentless ones . Second hour gets pretty interesting but doesn't flow as nicely as the first.

 serp writes: Gods [ 1997-07-20 - Orbital ]
This is a great recording of Orbital I wish it was in better quality! There is a particular moment in the set where they are playing Orbital - Halycon On & On and about half way through it they stop the track chuck this sample of John Bon Jovi on and then play this other sample of Belinda Carlises - "heaven is a place on earth" over the top of it, chalk in the breakbeat and then they whack the belinda carlises sample on backwards(!!!!!) and then kick halycon back in again(!), the end result is fucking awesome... Get a copy of the recording and you'll see what I mean!

God I hope they tour Australia (Melbourne) before they stop playing for good!

serp writes: Great Mix [ 1997-04-06 - Sven Vath ]
A really great slow building techno mix by Sven Vath, he was soooo good back in 1997 he really should have stuck to this kind of format cause his minimal stuff now isn't nearly as spot on as this.

Great mix I still listen to it regularly today.

Does anyone know the mixes of the two LSG tracks that are played? They are both definently not the original tracks as listed there, or are they played over other tracks as I can't recognize them?

Two track i am talking about are...

L.S.G. - "Hidden Sun Of Venus" (Platipus)
L.S.G - "Netherworld"
