Out of all the essential mixes I have heard form the past 4+ years I have been listening. This has to be one of the most inventive by bringing together various musical styles together.
Easily a 10/10 rating
I'd love to get the tracklisting of this as well. |

Can someone get in touch with me if they have this set. Am willing to trade or to cover costs. I have all other Digweed emixes and am sadly missing this from the collection |

This is one of those which tends to divide people into love it or hate it...which at least makes it interesting. Cass & Slide was another example.
For me, I love it - after spending the first 5 or 10 minutes thinking oh no what the hell is this. |

Revisiting this, the second half is good enough to up the mark a bit.
As for giving marks, yeah great idea...why doesn't everyone only mark the ones they really like so that everything gets a 10. |

Where are the voice overs?? Why has tong left us to question what the feck happened??
Total agreement with the helmut comment...altho one can see a speed freak uttering such nonsense while Sasha builds a beautiful intro. God Within - "Raincry" (white label) is exceptional, the mix into the next track is faultless, the set continues likes this.
Bit surprised to realise that the Sasha part is only 38minutes long (I have closer to 18mins of the shiva part) . Before listening to the mix i would have imagine this to be at least an hour. Excellent mix non-the less. Well played Sasha.
Can anyone name any of the Shiva Tracks? |

This essential mix was recorded live @ Amnesia, Ibiza. The Club night was 'Cream V's Up Yer Ronson'. As usual an excellent mix from Sasha.
I think the first track should actually be called "Stef Pako & Frederick - Seaside Atmosphere" as this is the same as on expiditions (northern exposure album).
The track labelled as "Tomorrow - "Scared" (white label)" should infact be "Slacker - Scared (Of Tomorrow)" (unsure which mix). |

Saw the man @ Cream @ Nation earlier in the night. Although he doesnt have the dj (mixing)abilities of say Digweed, Oakey can get a party going like no other. The atmosphere is always electric whenever he plays and he gets his hands on the BEST trance FIRST. "oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Eisbaer" |

I wouldnt put this down as there worst mix, there is a shady mix near the start, but apart from that i couldnt fault it. I thought tune selection was fine and actually love the first track, just for the pure mayhem factor.
Also gota love Junkie XL (track or remix, cant remember which) combo with Josh Wink Vs Lil Louie.........tracks fit together like a god dam jigsaw.
The remix of the prodigy track 'black' talks about is played during Sasha Creamfields 98, and is without doubt a classic. |

First time I'd seen Sasha live and I was there when he dropped "Pheonix :Rise up" as his first record of the night, nuff said, an amazing f***ing tune. The mixing is exceptional in this live mix and it includes alot of past faves. |

I'm not really a big fan of Pete Tong but I was at this night, it was held at the Arches in Glasgow and I have never known a DJ whip up a crowd into such a frenzy as he did just before it went live on Radio 1.The mixing isn't perticularly good but very effective and dropping 'Nagasaki' when the room was at its peak was a masterstroke. For this alone and for the memories it gets a rating of 9! |
