This has been my favourite mix of the year. He plays so many great records. Seen him play at my mates night (No Strings Attached) at the Venue in Edinburgh and he absolutely rocked the place. He even managed to drop Depeche Mode - I Just Can't Enough (Original Mix).

Great Mix!

 masterfonk writes: Agoria [ 2003-08-03 - Agoria ]
Agoria starts of smooth, sofistcated and deep then moves into more techier sounds! I thaught the mixing got a bit sloppy at bits. A good all round mix none the less.

agree with the guy above, james z's blue room mix was fucking stellar.

i initially thought this mix was boring as hell. then i listened to it three months later and thought that it was the freshest thing i'd heard in a while. rock on, james z.

not my taste. i was hoping for something more heavily featuring his productions like his most recent breezeblock mix, or a set of stuff in the same vein as his productions.

There is another track just before "Monster mash" and next to "AB/DC - The feeling". Listen the set again and note that. It's a cool dance song inspired in Halloween night, i think.

Lovely trip through house music, this one. Personally, I like the move through the styles, and the BOOM BOOM stuff in the middle is tasty -- nice puncutation in this essay on house. If you've never listened to this one, you're missing out.

dersuuzala writes: some corrections: [ 1994-06-25 - Laurent Garnier ]
Unknown - "Oiled Love" (Shiver)

is by Erik Van Den Broek, aka Shiver.

There's some remix of Willam Orbit - 'Water on a Vine Leaf' at the end of this mix, but I don't know which one it is.

lilrich writes: Boom Selection [ 1996-03-03 - Dave Lee & Joey Negro ]
Absolutly cracking mix. Dave keeps you intrested and actaully takes you on a real jorney. No wonder its a 1996 mix this was when house really did it for me and im 22 i wish i was into house at back then. The jorney he takes you on is through real uplifting funky house to oldskool funk and salsoul through to real good deep house. Not boring deep house it has lots goin on, just listen from the francois k track on. Its deep but not boring and the vocal funky stuff with the great melodies and synths are out of this world. All i can say is BO! Dave Lee (aka Joey negro)

p.s. check the early basement jack track its rude!
