While there were several awesome Oakey mixes in '99, this (any maybe Havana) was the best. Incredible song selection and arrangement makes will make this a classic mix for a long time to come. I only wish I had been in BA that night . . .  |

Project Medusa - Exor Moonshine rocks and soo does many more songs in this mix! I think it is a beauty but sincerely I prefer psy trance or anything like that! but this mix is really good in it`s category  |

The last track IS li kwan - Point Zero on Seka Records. It's a very limited edition due to problems with sample clearance (I think it's the Gregorian singing at the end of the track, that is not featured in the broadcast). I suspect Matt Darey to be the mastermind behind this gem though! :P
This mix is very tight and although not every track is my cup of tea, it proves that Armin is more than just cheese, like many people think... 9 |

This mix and live in havana are by far my two favorite mixes. Nothing is more appropriate for a house party, or a raver slumber party than some classic oaky.
There are so few mixes these days that have any good tracks in them at all. These old oaky mixes are banging from start to finish. |

I like this more and more each time I hear it. The contentious bit for me is the Beastie Boys track....sometimes it fits and sometimes it really sticks out horribly. |

Those who would like can download a pretty good copy of this, in the famous two parts, from Oakenfold's own website. It's a .WMA that's of considerably higher quality than just about everything else floating around. It's worth having, if only because of its historical significance. |

The first essential mix I ever heard and still the best. This has much better use of trance when compared with a certain mix that was played later that year, and not a whiff of cheese....hurrah |

Anyone know wich one is the track with an electro basssline starting at aprroximatly 24 min in the mix??
