I give the mix only 9, because there`s NO ATB-track in it!!!! ehehe |

im sorry world, norman cook rules. He is a miracle among DJs. Nowadays, when so many DJs are spending all their time learning the best and coolest ways to mix and transition and picking the best song that will sound best following this track... Norman Cook is looking up and around, reading the crowd, and playing off of them. Listen to the crowd in this mix, especially right at the beginning of "Life from the Start" and the Scanty Startup later on, and you will hear that. He is one with the crowd, the party is not focused on him, but rather the people there. You n me. and thats what makes him special. |

A wicked wonderful mix! I wonder how Seb Fontaine was rated so low in DjMag! He's one of top 5 along with Tiesto, Sasha,Digweed and Oakey!!! |

enough said, we've all heard xpander in all the good sasha/ digweed essential mixes of old but this adds the needed difference to keep it fresh, while still maintaining that classic break ...this mix is worth it just for that last track, not to say the rest is bad by any means |

This is probably my favourite sasha & digweed essential mix that i have heard, at first i wondered why they would play "moby - we're all made of stars (timo maas dub)" in each of their independent sets, but when i heard the track i found out why...its gooood dont expect sugary trance here, this is some damn fine progressive house and underground trance here...the good stuff i wish oakey would take a listen to this mix...and learn a few things from it!!! |

I really like this mix, not really because it is extremely good...but more because it is very different to my usual collection of essential mixes (oakenfold, sasha, garnier & digweed). It is a nice change, and for that reason will remain in my playlist for quite some time i expect |

This remaines one of my favourite essential mixes to this day, and i've had it for nearly 2 years it is my favourite oakenfold mix (discounting goa) largely because it is not inundated with the commercial crap you hear peppering his more recent mixes...although it does contain Perfecto Allstars
very good quality trance though |
