Very nice tracks! I really loved some of the tracks of the first hour. Chimera is a great opener and YBF - Dreamin' is just one of the best tracks ever. Too bad they released this track with vocals and killed the track :/

This is still one of my favorite essential mixes of all time... The first 40 minutes are just awesome. That Blue Remix combined with Black on Black is so awesome. That mix itself is not so hard to come up with, but they match so perfectly!

And the acapella over the Blandford Superfly is so cool. If you hear BS alone, you really miss the vocals!

It's a 9 overall, but the beginning deserves a 10+

I really enjoyed this mix. It has a very trancey feel, bordering on goa, very spacey and leaves you feeling good. Not a lot of hi-hrg, which is *not* a bad thing. Still enjoying it and will for quite sometime to come!

I have the internet version and it is excellent, the UNKLE project is so varied in its sound, it moves through the whole spectrum of dance music! Brilliant!

Damn fine essential mix, definititly get the Half_brick seal of approval.
Only one problem though, on the tracklist above it has James Holden - Nothing, they never played that. Instead they played Main element - Take me down (Dunno what mix it doesnt quite sound like the original). Actually theres possibly another problem, some mix of Way Out West's Everytime happens around 35mins into this mix but I dont see it on the list, maybe it was just an accappella? Someone correct me if I am wrong.

 dersuuzala writes: corrections [ 2002-10-06 - John Digweed ]
corrections to the tracklisting are as follows:

it's the Charlie May Quartzite Cluster remix of Emerald

the second track is: Depeche Mode - Only When I Lose Myself (Lexicon Ave Remix)

Zabeila should be Zabiela

DJ taucher etc should be Taucher - Millennium Bitch (Jimmy Van M and Sean Cusick Bitch in Paradise remix) (Scuba Germany)

the luke chable tune is Sealer's Cove (Midnight in Cyberfunk remix)

and it's Graffik - Lesser man.

the unknown tune is LSG - Down to Earth

the range of motion track is actually

range of motion feat. tanja dixon - what u mean to me (winx remix) [ovum records]

I don't know, there's just something really captivating about this mix. I felt it got a little to bland towards the middle but that lost moment didn't last long, and the last 40 minutes of the mix were heaven sent. This is one of my favourite essentials

As most of these mixes from named DJs I enjoyed it quite a bit. The mix into Armin - Blue Fear was extremely sexy. Previous comments mentioned that this was a digital mix. Unfortunately I tire of these ONLY because I only spin vinyl and NOT CDs which can be digitally remixed. The test of a true DJ is - can you do this on demand - perfection is not required - just good taste and skill.

This mix is a lot of fun and wonderfully housey... Some technical errors here and there, but the Sia starting off the set is just wonderful. Talk about a tune about excesses!!! How fun!!! Anyway, nice musical program!
