Does anyone know the name of that track? It's been on hawtin's mixes, sven vath's mixes, ken ishii's mixes, and its just wicked.

Hope someone can ID. Would be ever so grateful.

 zaksgsr writes: I love bob sinclair [ 2002-11-03 - Bob Sinclair ]
This was a good mix in my opinion. I know its not the same deep, dark blah blah that Sasha fans only like. This Emix was well done and ORIGINAL..one of the best ive heard this year.

fresh writes: Not my cup of tea [ 2002-11-03 - Bob Sinclair ]
'That mysterious man from Paris Mr Bob Sinclar is back on the Essential Mix for a hotly anticipated headliner set, expect something different!'

Well, it's not my cup of tea... I didn't like the tracks, way too electro-club for me. I hoped it would turn into a bit more dark, progressive sound, but unfortunately it didn't change... I hated the 'I love Bob Sinclar' stuff in the beginning...

I won't be listening to this one again... Back to Rui daSilva and James Holden's essential mix for me!

 Hybrid writes: WOW! [ 2002-08-04 - Sasha @ Manumission, Privilege, Ibiza ]
Sasha vs Underworld - Xpander vs Cowgirl!!

A little bit different for the "excuse" to use it again ?

Great to have Xpander back!! That was an awesome mix, and still is!

I'm gonna make a CD out of this one..

 Hybrid writes: Brilliant! [ 2002-10-06 - John Digweed ]
This mix is so good, that I can't believe it!
This and the Delta Heavy Tour with Sasha & Diggers earlier this year are IMO the best Essential Mixes for this year, 2002.

For those who care, it's from "In the Light" on Led Zeppelin's _Physical_Grafitti_ album.

 fresh writes: [ 2002-09-15 - Rui Da Silva ]
I thought the beginning was good, didn't like the 'dark beat' track, but Nu Religion made up for it. Especially the second was marvellous in my opinion. That Mystic Roya track is so awesome! The unknown track a bit after the middle is Rock - 'Resistance (Martin Accorsi Remix)' for those who are interested :P

Although Rui da Silva has to work a bit on his mixing (I heard the express go by real fast one time in the end), I think this mix has quality tracks. It's a small 9 in my opinion...

I haven't heard this 'deep itialian club' before and I have to say that I REALLY like it! The first 50 minutes are awesome and the mix had scored a 10 for that. Then it became a little too electro and vocal for me and in the last 45 minutes, it got better again, but not as deep as the beginning.

If he had left the electro/vocal part out and built to the last part, it would have got a 9+

didnt like that britney tune at the end (very much didnt).. i guess he played it just because dirty vegas produced it .. or something quite ilogical. i'dd shoot myself really if i dared to play something *that* pop.

a good solid mix from timo maas (not timo mass as pete tong says )

The chemicalbrothers track rules big time

 ysbreker writes: awesome!! [ 2002-01-06 - Unkle Sounds ]
I got the full 3 hours and 20 minutes of this superior mix, so suprising and so diverse from classic rock to the latest of (deep) progressive

if you got the 2 hour version you really should try to get the 3 hours and 20 minutes of unkle goodness I've been listening to nothing else since I got this mix

(I wish I could get a fast connection and start my own ftp, cause everyone should hear this mix )

ragusauz writes: worth the 70 minute listen [ 2000-12-31 - Paul Oakenfold ]
definitely a good mix, i still enjoy it 2 years later

the only questionable track is doom's night, which is great in its own right, but doesn't seem to belong in this mix.
the U2 remix is great, and flesh tips the scale from an 8 to a 9.

 devilbunny writes: Let's try again: I'm a moron. [ 2002-08-25 - Hernan Cattaneo @ Homelands ]
I cleared the "use html" and "use smilies" boxes on the last one; let's see if it works now.

Anyway, I'm a moron: it's not at 34 min, that's just the point on that track on my MD of it. It's at 52:20 on the MP3.

devilbunny writes: okay, it's not posting the message. Older song, around 34 min, brackets a Radio 1 announcement ("Creamfields two thousand and two. The Essential Mix. Radio 1."). I recognize it but can't place it. Ideas? [ 2002-08-25 - Hernan Cattaneo @ Homelands ]
