Yes this was theeee best live essential mix. It was also the hardest nights dancing i have done! People had no tops on cos it was soo hot! and then bang Timo came on after with a driving come breaks set whiched was as dirty as the ................ |

To say these boys weren't known as DJs and earned their reputations through producing, this is a mix that shames many full-time professional DJs. Barnes and Daley show some real skills here, from playing records at the wrong RPM to cutting back and forth between tracks and mixing effortlessly between genres. There's practically no prog house either - it goes from ambient through the funkiest of breaks and dub into some serious techno, and then back out the other side. A great example of a production act using a DJ set to show the music that influenced them, rather than just playing a predictable signature style.
It does run out of steam a bit towards the end, but the first hour is nigh-on perfection so it deserves a 9/10. |

These guys really know what to mix! It's not so long, but it never slows down, and keeps you in a good tempo.

Well maybe he had problems with the sound system however that does not take away from the fact that the tracklisting is woeful, i have never heard this mix but i can see it is pretty shit. |
