Not sure i have the full version of this mix, think it cuts off towards the end, but, still, a nice, classic house set. A bit too soulfully vocal for my tastes at times, but, its ten years old, and is true to the roots of house music (a blend of soul, disco, and jazz). I still get down to this one even today. I would not reccommend this to you new skewlers, unless you're like me, and enjoy all styles of dance music, new and old. If you're from back in the days though, its a great set to funk out to, and reminesce of them good ol days |

One of the most overrated Essential Mixes ever, one of my friends brought this too me a few years back eulogising about it,and how fantastic it was.
For me it is just another sub standard Tenaglia mix,and is held in high esteem just because of who it is mixed by.
If this was mixed by a bedroom DJ,it would'nt have gotten a second look then, and certainly not now. |

Dear essentialmix.nu community!
Does anybody know the track from min 47' to min 51'?
It's between
Maydie Myles - "Keep On Luvin" (K4B)
and
Ecstacy - "Fantasy" (King St)
and not mentioned in the tracklist!
Thank you for every kind of help! |

Not the biggest fan of mixes with tracks full of vocals but Tenaglia has talent and the tunes are funky, and easy listening house. The first 2 tracks do it for me. |
|
Should be Armand Van Helden - Nrongo Ra Mrongo not Witch Docktor |

The track after Keep On Luvin' is Chez Damier & Ron Trent - Hip To Be Disillusioned (1994 edit). There is a track after this one but it's unknown the one with the Latin vocals. Also should be Cassioware featuring Sajaeda - Fantasy |
