Harder edged, but Bukem does it so much better. |

saying that bukem does it better is a pointless remark. they mix different styles of jungle (and yes, i do mean jungle, not drum & bass, DNB, whatever the fcuk u may think it's called). its a bit like saying that heston blumenthal is a better chef than gordon ramsay. they are both professionals and it depends on your personal taste...
back to the goldie mix tho - its like the title of his 1995 album - Timeless |

I remember being 18, and in my ex-g/f's car listening to this mix back in 1996. We made out very heavily to this jam...ah yes....the memories
I love this mix....I love it, I love it, I love it!!! Both Goldie and LTJ are major ownage in JUNGLE! |

@ madgoose
I have to agree that LTJ does it better, at least in terms of the Essential mix. Goldie has some terrible mixes in this set and Bukem's are quite tight. I agree that the styles are different but from a technical standpoint, Bukem is better.
However, I do quite like this mix. Goldie always has a nice mix of tracks. Hard, smooth, jazzy.....you never know what he'll throw next. |
