sam500 writes: Quality house and techno
I can safely say that this mix got me into house music. I was wavering up to this point but it cemented my faith! The first half is vocal / deep house, the second is deep detroit techno of the highest order.

The Michael Proctor joint (UBP) 'Deliver Me' gets me everytime and the fact that he can incorporate a vocal house track into a techno set shows what a versatile DJ Stacey Pullen is. Haven't heard him recently, let's hope he's still as good as this.

This was a really excellent mix. The track listing is in a random order though. Anyone know what the correct order is?

mkw-pfc writes: sam sums it up
you said it sam - this is a great mix which makes the transition from vocal house to quality detroit techno seamlessly & that deliver me tune rocks (i'm loving the first track best personally)
9/10 - these days he still keeps the same housier side of techno without the panel beating hardtechno sound - quality dj

 Hillsman writes:
A solid house-style opening hour....very smooth...followed by a superb hour of first-class detroit techno. Highly recommended!!

 Hillsman writes:
Damn. 10 years on and I still find myself listening to this mix more than most others! Would love to get a few more Pullen sets, but there's not a lot out there. I bought his album years ago, but he only did about 2 mix CDs after that! (DJ Kicks & Fabric) Pity.

 tenscot writes:
This mix is solid no doubt, but Stacy occasionally lost me a little bit, and it sometimes got a little tracky for my tastes. But still, I can dance to this anytime.

 Bindermosa writes:
Great mix from a great DJ. Music is all great and nice progression as well. The only issue I have is the mixing. He doesn't beat mix as much as he does use the effects on the Pioneer DJM-800. Sometimes it's not tight but you have to appreciate his ingenuity.
