this is what nick warren was like back then.. i like him better now, with way out west and all... He also played the track which was remixed in 2001 .. Ratty - Sunrise... Just after that chicane tune.. acctualy OVER it,.. this is almost a crime. no wait.. this is a crime!
the second part is more energetic.. thank god he changed to the (imo) better taste of music |
|
This is certainly a mix of two halves, but for me it grew on me and I still go back to it now. I particularly like the Eric B & Rakim track in the first half. |

You're kidding, right? Ratty's "Sunrise" did NOT appear in this set, as it was a horrid cover version of "Song to the Siren" that didn't appear 'til 2000.
Nick has committed no crime. Please do your homework. |

If you meant it's a crime because they somewhat clashed, I might agree, but that is the nature of bootlegs and the use of accapellas. not a 100% max. |

Great mix I still listen to it regularly today.
Does anyone know the mixes of the two LSG tracks that are played? They are both definently not the original tracks as listed there, or are they played over other tracks as I can't recognize them?
Two track i am talking about are...
L.S.G. - "Hidden Sun Of Venus" (Platipus)
L.S.G - "Netherworld" |

Ive always been a big fan of Nick, and this mix shows why he's one of the worlds best DJ's.
It builds realy nicley from Progressive House grooves into some realy deep trance sounds.
The track selection is excellent ,this mix has stood the test of time realy well.
The droping of This Mortal Coil - Song To The Siren over Chicane's ''Offshore" is pure genius. |

I overlooked this at first but after a couple of more listens, it really grows on you. Liked the opening half an hour or so, then build up to more of a trance feel. |
