This is an excellent essential mix. He keeps the energy going all the way through and an excellent choice of records.
If anyone knows the first tune he plays let me know. It's listed as unknown on every tracklisting I've seen of this mix. |

Good mix! The atmosphere in the club sounds amazing! Spun a little bit too fast though. |

this mix is perfect even if it's pretty fast ! PVD was at the top of his art. And we didn't know, at that time, he started to become as Musicmag says, "pvd is god'. i agree with this concept. this mix is awesome and it has got the first place in my personnal trance top 10. 10/10 |

This was the soundtrack on the road to Birmingham in the early hours of sunday morning after my mates and I got refused entry so see Oakey at Cream.
I love Oakey but I doubt his set was as good as this that night!
The middle of this mix is something quite special and shows off PVDs style to a T; perectly bridging the floatier moments with a much more techy style to snap people out of their collective trance; something only PVD ever seemed to do!
PVD has always stuck around because he is a leader; he plays what he likes and he likes what he plays and that shows. When other DJs jumped on the trance bandwagon they didn't last (a) because it was too obvious and (b) because they didn't know how to structure their mixes......keep trying |

Absolutely brilliant first hour or so, calms down for about the next half hour and then lifts off for the last half hour with PvDs own tuns. A massive set from PvD. |
