 kineylikes writes: Not bad..
..but it weren't that good, neither.

It started out pretty good, but about halfway through.. maybe a little further, it began to get pretty dry. There were several tunes in that first half that I would like to pick up.. but more in the second half that shouldn't have been played. Picked up again at the end with the Daft.. but even that Sneak remix was pretty dry.. took too long to build up.

And if I hear one more stupid song that rips off the bassline from the O'Jays' classic 'I Love Music', I'm gonna hurl. That was such a good song, and it was kinda kool the first time someone used it. Now it's just way over-stolen. Fucking balls.

All in all, I was a little disappointed by Yousef. He had me for about 70 minutes, but then lost me. And lost me good. By the time Daft Punk cam eon in the end, I jsut didn't care anymore and I was ready to play classic house EMs like Carter, Sneak or even Pipi's.

Shineys,
Rye.

i agree ... first 45 mins is good if a little predictable, over all a bit disappointing set from one of the supposed more enlightening djs around.
