According to Pete Tong, this mix will feature not only himself but the mighty BT! Hopefully it'll be an hour each.

 azzido81 writes: pete redeemed himself
i only heard pete's set & i have 2 say i liked it. alot of people had started 2 diss him, saying that he had lost it & that he shouldn't be put in the same category as the other big name dj's (& frankly i had begun 2 question his skills). but he certainly redeemed himself with this mix, probably his best since creamfields 2000

Styarc writes: good to hear BT
I enjoyed this mix. Good to see someone trying an accapella of sorts on the Cosmos track 'Take Me Away'. If someone could only find the perfect accapella for this track.

Nice to hear BT on the decks, havent heard him for a while. He still has a habit of making my hairs stand up.

I dont know what the fuss about Timo Maas is at the moment though. All and sundry seem to be playing his tunes at the mo.

All in all good mix and Pete Tong is still a top DJ.

 Kaizyn writes: Typical trance set..
Pete shows us he can put on a decent set with little effort. Don't bother getting this one if you are looking for anything exciting or innovative. However, if you are looking for a progressive set you've not yet heard, this one is ok.

 black writes: good...
ive been listening to this for the last hour now and was quite surprised on the effect this mix had on me... ofcourse pete tong prooves he can DJ if he wants too, but doesnt go too deep... all about the beats and people... but it got me in the mood to dance party and jump around

guess what, im going to see seb fontaine and timo mass @ valkana beach in august... freaky.. lots of other djs too.. something like homelands.

This is a great hour long set from Pete. with the fantastic break tunes of Layo & Bushwack and the delightful Spooky - Belong and of course Cosmos Vs Daft Punk - a great mix leading up to Bt

 HouseCat writes: thumbs up
In my opinion, this is one of his greatest essential mixes,if not the greatest.
It was very uplifting, very progressive and trancey and I still am listening to it ,via a battered tape.
BTs e mix,.......was awful.
His mixing was off,his track selection was boring and inane,he's a great producer but he can't cut it as a DJ imo.

 funkbunny303 writes: great mix
This is a great set, imo. Anyone that thinks, or might have thought, that Pete was losing his touch or wasn't a top DJ should listen to this one for sure. Granted, all dj's go through their ups and downs, good days and bad, but, Pete has remained consistent throughout the years, for the most part. He knows his crowds, and how to work them, and that's what being a DJ is truly about imo. As for the set itself, i agree that it is indeed very progressive, and has a unique quality to it. He shifts styles a few times, and makes the transitions almost flawlessly. He keeps it laid back, but funky enough to move your body to, and its got a bit of a psychedellic influence to it. Perfect set for the Coachella festival.
