Welcome to this site, here you can find the Radio One Essential Mix archives, ever since 1993 when it first broadcasted, up until today, and for the future. In time there will be features added for "artist in residence" which will be a profile of a DJ/Producer we will pick each month, and give you information about them and what they are doing now.

The page is updated by atleast a few people, so it is always up to date.

Sasha vs Underworld - Xpander vs Cowgirl!!

A little bit different for the "excuse" to use it again ?

Great to have Xpander back!! That was an awesome mix, and still is!

I'm gonna make a CD out of this one..

 jon_scott_1 writes: XPANDER VS COWGIRL!!!!
enough said, we've all heard xpander in all the good sasha/ digweed essential mixes of old but this adds the needed difference to keep it fresh, while still maintaining that classic break...this mix is worth it just for that last track, not to say the rest is bad by any means

 Jasonsan writes: Intro Tune

 Lenfy writes:
Excellent track selection, Sasha pulls it off once again. For me this mix definitely takes off when the Dot Allison track comes in, wicked tune!

funkdakarma writes: One of Sasha's best...
...taking you on a typical emotional and funky journey with the trademark Sasha flow....for some reason the copy of this EM I downloaded sounds very hollow, like it's not a direct recording....same problems with the S+D Renaissance EM from 2004...pity because they're both kick-ass sets....has anyone else faced this problem?
