seeker writes: Nice Taste of DnB
I can't believe it's been over 3 years since a DnB artist was featured on the Essential Mix!

High Contrast pulled a nice one out here, Lots of remixes of classic tunes. Good use of the 'I Get Deep' acappella over 'Return Of Forever', although I know a lot of people didn't think so. The Omni Trio remix at the end had me jumping -- what a blast from the past.

 aldo_mm writes: Amazing!
I have been listening to some DnB/Jungle tunes, but I never thought it could be so perfectly enhaced to produce such a nice mix....

Specially that "have you heard" tune... it's SO AWSOME!!!

derbyrob writes: what if you had it?
Originally rated it 9 but i've had it on constant playback since it was broadcast, appretiate a bit of cheesey house conversion tracks in deebee sometimes and i make this exception here, top notch, still massive respect for that png remix, just a shame it never got full release

I heard this set at my buddy's house last night. A truly amazing set. Your subs really get a workout too, which is always a good thing.

 serp writes:
This was an excellent set, really brings D'n'B to the masses. A lot of D'n'B die hards don't like this guy, but its what that scene needs I tell ya :P

Its a shame that the recording I have is a bit muffed :/

 dbsmoker writes: NICE!!!
I really dig this mix! I'm not a huge fan of DnB, so I don't know if I come off as an noob, but this is some GREAT music! Yeah that "Have You Heard" is AWESOME!!! Love it!

wicked mix indeed!...High Contrast completly broke trough in 2004 and 'Twilights Last Gleaming' (have you heard) could be vated as the tune of 2004 in the drum'n'bass scene.

 MM writes: Impressive
Not bad from the young Welsh man. Enjoyed the old skool selections aswell like LFO & Crystal Waters.

 matrix writes: Pretty good.
Liked this one...not all the way through, but liked it more than most d&b mixes.

Hadn't heard a D+B EM since Grooverider's in '97 so when i first heard this it blew me away. FSOL and Crystal Waters remixes almost brought a tear to my eye!!! Article!!!

 alberp writes: Great DnB
This DnB mix is great. Sometimes DnB mixes just rattle my brain. This one is fun, with great remixes, up tempo songs, slower tempo, hip hop, classics, and everything inbetween.
