Not much too say...
I thought I could hear some music on this mix ... I felt like I was a BandPass filter and I was receiving white noise !!! Fook sake Eddie!

seen him a few times in the past year and never failed to dissapoint, sadly this did, never been a fan of recording in small clubs, far too much background noise to hear the quality that is eddie halliwell, sorry eddie, better luck next time |

This was nonsense, and to think he is regarded as one of the up and comers in the DJing world, pathetic. |

why so down on eddie?
sure quality is poor, but that's to be expected of some live mixes. studio mixes are too programmed.
i enjoyed this mix. tech-hard-trancey-marcoV-esque average tunes. |

Eddie Halliwell is easily the most over-rated DJ i have ever seen, he was dull live and was even worse on this mix, he even stole two tricks from the fantastic MetArena (Armagh NI) resident Chris Davis for this mix after watching him perform them in the very same venue just a few weeks beforehand, couldn't do them as well as Chris though, too many old, overplayed crap tunes too, crap DJ, crap mix. |

Eddie Halliwell is a legend, this mix is amazing considering the pressure he was under! he works much harder than any other mainstream dj i have ever seen, and i dont think ne 1 else else in the world can scratch like that, hes unique! |

how does he work harder than any other mainstream dj? you never seen morillo, roger sanchez, dave clarke, deep dish, sasha or digweed.
They work hard
Oh and his scratcjing is very very poor |

This mix was recorded @ Ascention, Manchester.
I liked this mix btw. Not just because it's a live essential mix, but also becuase Halliwell knows how to keep it pumping! I really dig his style of mixing and it's a pleasure to see him perform live. And though Q-bert may be better in scratching, Halliwell is good at it too imo.
The only minus about this mix is that he plays all the 'well-known-hits'. Not so many new and fresh tracks. But he still does that now. |
