I'm really liking this mix. Probably the best one of the year so far. I'll give a rating later on.

i must agree with the others
this has been an awsome MIX!

Even my mother likes this kind of music he plays! So that says something about this mix...
Great work, almost no mistakes can be heard... and offcourse some very nice music combined!

 recaholic writes: speechless
i must say, this is by far the most "TECHNICALLY" & "MUSICALLY" inspiring set.

very very impressive. i have not heard anything like such!!!!!!! it's like being entertained and getting a lecture from adam's music at the same time. fucking dj-educational!

 dersuuzala writes:
this is the only essential mix from this year i've given heavy rotation.

Jaydee - 'Plastic Dreams' (R&S)
Free*land - 'We Want Your Soul' (Marine Soul)

is apparently a mashup of a breaks bootleg of plastic dreams and the acapella of we want your soul.

this really pisses me off, because i like this version FAR more than the original.

 serp writes:
Best emix of 2003 I thought. I still listen to this emix today. Still doesn't beat his 1997 mix for get out of your seat and shake your ass material.

I remember hearing this mix when it came out and seeing Adam Freeland that weekend in Melbourne and he pretty much played this whole set identically! I was a bit pissed off about that as you shouldn't just make one great mix then play it at every live show you do (I read in other forums that he did pretty much the same set everywhere on that australian tour).

 funkbunny303 writes: love it
Glad to hear everyone else seems to like this mix as much as i do. It's funky ascan be, technically proper, and, above all for me, is the track selection. It's one thing to mix well, but, to get across a message like Freeland does in this at the same time, that's something totally different. I'd like to hear more mixes with meaning to them from different artists. I'd say this is a must have for anyone's collection.

 UnitedDJ writes: nice
Proper mix. It has all the synesthetic properties with a solid political charge. Mix of the year material.

 dbsmoker writes: WTF?!?!?????????
Are you ALL SMOKING CRACK??? This mix is ALL OVER THE FRIGGIN MAP! IT'S REALLY LAME!!! Rage Against the friggin Machine?!?!?!???? Gimmie a friggin break! NO COMPARISON TO DJ SHADOW!!! NO WAY!!!

I think Ashley Casselle's '03 mix is the best I've heard so far...

 Dugwax writes: healthy breaks!!
Am really liking the sound of freeland at the moment. have both his albums on mp3. Heres 2 the expansion of breaks to ear drums all over!!

 matrix writes:
This is the best breaks mix I've heard. Great stuff.

 Sea Monkey writes: tracklisting error
The tracklisting is missing Freeland - Heel 'N' Toe before Nirvana / Freeland - 'Smellslike Freeland' (White Label)
