I'v not heard this mix yet, but judging by the tracklisting this is very substanderd mix, picks up slightly towards the end tho with traccks like valentino kanzyani - salca loca. Slam u can do better than this, there is enough good and better music going round for u to play better choons. |

You haven't heard the mix, so why bother commenting on it? I'm 70 minutes in and it's rocking. Love it! |

If you had listen to any of Slam's previous studio sets on the essential mix. You will realise they don't bang it out from the start. They always start off slow go through a few sound changes throughout the set and then bring it home with some solid mixing and up the tempo. Have a listen from start to finish and I reckon you might like it. This is of course if you like Slam's sound or not. |

solid mixing? there is some terribly shonky mixing in this set! that said, the music is quality, programming is quality, and while i'm not into the fast paced techno it ended with, i really liked most of this set |

A couple of pioneers, try saying that after a few beers! Yes Tongy hit the nail right on the head, these two are a couple of pioneers!! Its great to hear some scottish dj's getting the recognition that they rightly deserve. Having featured on the essential mix a number of times, its certainly no accident these boys are at the top of their game. The set was a lovely flowing techno set that had me nodding my head and tapping my foot for the whole 120 minutes and the only downside was that it had to finish!! Seriously though, the mixing perhaps wasn't up to their usual standards but hey we're all human. Guys can't wait to hear another wicked set. See you on the dance floor!!! |

The buildup takes the better part of the first hour, but the tracks are nice and dark the whole way. Once they hit their stride in the second hour, its awesome. |
