markoos writes: Fantastic, a totally fantastic mix
I've heard Dave Seaman many times over the years but I'm sad to say its been a while now since I last heard him play live, so I was really looking forward to this new mix.

But even though I knew it was coming up, I still fucked up recording it.

I spent the first ten/fifteen minutes trying to drag my brain into gear so I could stream it to my hard drive. Didn't work, coudn't get a hot enough signal and still hadn't woken up enough to figure out why. Couldn't find a blank minidisc either, so getting any sort of digital copy was out... and tape? nah, not anymore!

So I thought, I'll just lay back down with the headphones on (Beyerdynamic DT250's for that fat club vibe!)
And even though it was cranked up a bit, I still managed to drift in and out of the soundfield, sort of semi counscious... but what I heard was amazing, some fantastic tracks with perfect programming and mixing. Pretty suprpised no one else has posted on this mix. I though it was brilliant, and can't wait for him to play again at Shindig.

Now, where can this iddiut download this set from...? if you can help me out with a quality copy (at least 200k+ mp3, even a 44.1 file or CD if you want to do some sort of deal) I would be a happy man. I'd even pay or send you a coupla blank discs...!

 andyC writes:
It'll be on the Radio1 website until Saturday night, when it'll be replaced by next weeks mix. It's only streamed (rather than downloadable), but suggest you get on there quick to get it. I forgot he was on this weekend, will probably have a look myself...

 trebass writes:
To Markoos. We rocked it with Seaman @ROOM 680, Melbourne Australia in May this year. Let me tell you this man played a Deep, Dirty, Sexy set which many Dj's these days are too scared to do. He played that progressive sound like it should be and the Melbourne crowd just love that shit. This is an awsome essential mix.

I think this was one of the best party's this summer. This Saturday/Sunday - something incredible. I'll never forget it and that's why I want to find Seaman's set. To listen and to remember that night with lot's of magic on the dancefloor...

!!! Let the Music rule this world !!!

 matrix writes: Very good.
There are just a few between the 60 minute mark and 90 minute mark that stop this being a 10 for me. Love the last two tracks.

 tactik writes:
Excellent mix, one of the best ever.
There is one track missing on the tracklist tho, Guy Gerber's "Stoppage Time (Dave Gardner & Sahar Z Haoman 17 mix)" wich he plays in between Stylus Troouble's and Future Retro's tracks.

 CerealKiller writes:
I've been a huge Dave Seaman fan since his early releases on the Renaissance compilations and I must say he didn't dissapoint here. I just loved the chill progressive vibe of this set. Perfect set to just lay back and lose yourself in the music. Can't believe this didn't win best e-mix of the year. =

dave seems to be only one of the old skool jocks who improves with time.must have something to do with not having to do all that foottie training after an all night soujorn.
does he still wear his uhlsport gloves though,i would have thought it would have made hard work of cueing up.!!!!!!!!!!!!

 DSmalls writes: Sweet
Definitely a fine mix by Mr. Seaman, pure quality. This man has always amazed me with his mixing skills and ability to really create a set as a whole piece of work, from start to finish. You can't just listen to pieces. This will sit on my ipod for a while. BTW - the Above & Beyond tune is really under an alias they're using, Tranquility Base. That track is huge in the world of trance, well not that mix so much.

 rezzyrezz writes: Tracklist times
Hi, two things. if anyone is intersted this mix is now up on dave seamans own site. (im probably a bit late in the day on this, i missed a lot of EMs last year). 2. Does anyone have times for the individual tracks, or a cue sheet? i have downloaded the mix but would like to break it up. Thanx. P.S. This mix was excellent, as is all of his stuff. I had the bad luck to be in hospital when he played a club near me this month, so missed a live gig. Oh well.....

 Marcin_G writes:
I love the opening track by Cass Then again anything Cass produces is gold. Anyhow, this is splendid grooovy progressive house set, with actually some really good mixing by Dave. I've never heard him mix this good, IMO he doesn't mix well but the programming & tracks are all quality. This set is definitely up there for my liking.

Guy Gerber - Stoppage Time is in and around the 55 minute mark in this mix,
yet there is no mention of it on the tracklist.
