In time there will be features added for "artist in residence" which will be a profile of a DJ/Producer we will pick each month, and give you information about them and what they are doing now.

The page is updated by atleast a few people, so it is always up to date.

Not bad, sounded smooth as hell (unusual for Tong live) as he was playing off a laptop.

A couple of standout tracks but really a bit too samey and boring, electroey stuff can be better than this!

The usual Tong problem - he matches good tunes with as many dull ones. A good patch will always be followed by the fast forward bit. First 20mins of this is OK, and as noted above the mixing isn't as bad as normal.

Was just going to comment about the uncharacteristicly good beatmixing from Tong til I saw the comment about him playing off a laptop.

I saw him live on the Emix in March in Lush and his music was just as dull as this if not worse.

I could see through him starting so dull if he was playing for 3-4 hours, but there is no excuse for it when only playing for 60 minutes.

Tong seems to want to make a statement about himself more than actually entertain the crowd when he plays on the Essential Mix nowadays.

Poor DJ.
